Put your eyes where my hands could see
This is a short film developed in collaboration with filmmaker Natalia Labaké.
The material was gathered during a research process that began in 2021 and continued until 2023. In this research we focused on established relations between light, darkness and vision, and explored the changing relation between the act of seeing and the act of touching. The video footage belongs to choreographic practices situated during the day and night and in different environments, such as a basement, a desert, a forest and a city. The sound material is a mixture of found music material, a recording we made as part of a publication on light and its presences on artistic practice, and music specially composed for the film.
